Former Visiting Scholar
Shiqiang Wu was a Visiting Scholar at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Wu received both his M.D. and bachelor’s degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is an attending neurosurgeon at Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. During his time in the Liou Lab, his basic science research focused on using custom-built widefield imaging systems, two-photon methods, and ECoG to understand the roles of different cell types in epilepsy and anesthetic states. Clinically, he focuses on the preoperative evaluation and surgical treatment of patients with epilepsy.
